Static bars, also known as, static eliminators or anti static bars, are a very cost effective way to remove static electricity on a web of material in a plastics, paper, glass, textile, and or film converting applications. ElectroStatics, Inc is a world class manufacturer of anti static bars. Static bars are also known as: anti static bars, static elimination bars, anti static generator.
All of these static bars are bi-polar ionization generators (produce both positive and negative ionization) to remove static electricity. Most static bars are AC bars but we also manufactured double DC bars for high end applications.
Remember – A clean static bar is more effective and material with no static is cleaner.
What is a static bar?
A static bar is static removal device that uses bi polar ionization to remove static electricity. It has many applications but is frequently used to remove static electricity moving material on a conveyor, printing press, sheeter, and textile equipment, medical products manufacturing.
Why use a static bar / anti-static bar?
Anti-static bars are used in many applications. The most common is inside of a machine that is moving a non conductive material such as paper, plastic film, or thread / yarn. It is a cost effective method for removing static electricity on a moving material that is a set distance from the anti static bar. What are some Anti Static Bar Product Models & Features?

Model 11 High Output AC Static Bar
91001-0XXX0
(same as above without Ion-Liteโข technology) most popular static bar
1″ x 1″ x 3″
25 mm x 25 mm x effective length + 76mm

Model 1100 High Output Static Bar with Ion-Liteโข technology
PN 91002-0XXX6
High output (also known as hot) static bars are a reliable, efficient and cost effective choice for a static bar.
1″ x 1″ x 5″
25 mm x 25 mm x effective length + 127 mm

Model 21 Shockless AC Static Bar
91701-XXX00
Shockless static bars are usually smaller than their high output counterparts. They also have the advantage of being “shockless”. This is a very good choice if the operator has to work in close proximity to the static bar and for applications needing the small profile of the Model 21.
0.625″ x 0.75″ x effective length +3″
16 mm x 20 mm x effective length + 76 mm

Model 4000
The Model 4000 is an advanced technology static bar for long distance and high speed applications. The Model 4000 has a high output, a great effective distance and a more rigid construction than other static bars. It is a cost effective solution for demanding static control applications.
PN 92900-0XXX0
See our DC systems for the highest speed webs or charging applications
Part number codes for Static Bars
The XXX in the static bar part number identifies the overall length of the bar. For example a Model 11 Static Bar with a 12″ effective length and a 15″ overall length would have a part number #91001-00150.
Model 21, Model 11 and Model 4000 static bars are effective length plus 3″ for overall length.
Model 1100 bar is effective length plus 5 ” for overall length.
Optional features anti static / ionization bars:
- air boost to increase effective range
- double bar to increase ionization output for a given length of bar
- Custom cable lengths
Applications:
Static bars designed and manufactured by ElectroStatics, Inc come in four basic models with a variety of options, such as air boost, can solve all static electricity related problems. ElectroStatics offers the broadest and most cost effective line of static neutralizing bars equipment to control electrostatic charges and increase efficiency and productivity. Air boost option increases ionization range and assists in contamination control.

Static bars are used in many application be are the most cost effective method to control static electricity on webs of material.

Power Supplies for Static Bars
Static Bars, Models 11, 1100 require a 4 KV output power unit, Model T1246SL, PN 90010-12463 120V, 50/60HZ or T-2246SL, 90010-22463 PN 220V, 50/60HZ
Static Bars Model 21 & Model 4000 require a 7KV output power unit, Model T-1276SL PN 90010-12763, 120V or 50/60HZ or T-2276SL PN 90010-22763, 220V, 50/60HZ.
One (1) power supply can support 2 static bars.
